We’re in an ideal location close to the North Cornwall and North Devon Coastlines just a short distance from the Tamar Lakes.

Our nearest beach in Sandymouth, only 4 miles away and is dog friendly all year round, you’ll also find the cafe open all year too!

The coastal resort of Bude is just 6 miles, offering fine sandy beaches, good surfing and a good selection of shops and cafes in the town. Breathtaking countryside and coastal walks can be found nearby.

Our local village Bradworthy, 2 miles from Brexworthy Farm, has a large village square, a pub, church, Post Office, general stores, butchers, tea rooms and doctors. For a larger supermarket, Bude has a large Morrisons and petrol station.

Beaches

There are stunning beaches within easy distance of Brexworthy Farm, many of them owned by the National Trust.

The main centre for the area is Bude. The town has excellent facilities with an large selection of shops, a supermarket, and recreational activities, including a modern indoor heated swimming pool. A few minutes walk from the town centre you’ll find the dramatic scenery of the South West Coastal Path and a sandy beach with some of the best surfing to be found in the UK. Check out the Bude webcams!

Watersports & fishing

Brexworthy Farm overlooks Tamar Lakes which offers excellent facilities for the hire of sailing dinghies, canoes, surf-skiing, rowing boats, rowing skiffs and windsurfers. In addition you can purchase daily permits for coarse fishing, which include carp, bream, tench, rudd, roach and eels. There are “round the lake walks” which link in with many other local footpaths, a bird hide at the bird sanctuary, and several picnic areas. Walking

Heather-covered moorland and deep wooded gorges, beautiful lake-like reservoirs and tumbling rocky rivers, thriving market towns and villages, patchwork farmland and craggy granite tors all can be found within Dartmoor National Park.
