Brexworthy Farm is a 15 acre working traditional smallholding overlooking the Tamar Lakes.

We currently keep a Prize winning flock of Devon & Cornwall Longwool Sheep, Chickens, and Alpacas. We show our sheep at many local agricultural Shows throughout the summer months. We also sell our own grass fed lamb boxes, breeding stock, and always have raw fleeces for sale.

‘Lambing weekends’ and ‘Starting with Sheep workshops’

Every year we offer lambing weekends where you can learn all about lambing and try your hand!

We also offer ‘Starting with Sheep’ workshops throughout the year. For more information please complete the form on this page to get in touch with us.

You can also check out our YouTube channel ‘Starting with Sheep’ presented by our very own Lesley.

Our animals

Our flock of sheep mainly comprise of Devon & Cornwall Longwools, which is registered as a rare breed. Their wool is used predominately for carpet and rug weaving, but also spins well and can also be used for various other crafts such as felting. The carcass is lean with little fat making the meat tender & tasty. All our sheep lamb in January & February. Our chickens supply us with fresh free range eggs each day!

Due to the fact that our sheep are sheared twice a year we also have available throughout the year fleeces that can be brought as a whole or part.

If you are interested in purchasing sheep from us we often have stock for sale and welcome viewings.
