Brexworthy Farm is a 15 acre working traditional smallholding overlooking the Tamar Lakes.
At Brexworthy Farm we currently keep a Prize winning flock of Devon & Cornwall Longwool Sheep, chickens, and alpacas. We show our sheep at many of the local agricultural shows throughout the summer months and sell our own grass fed lamb boxes, breeding stock, and always have raw fleeces for sale.
Check out our YouTube channel ‘Starting with Sheep’ presented by our very own Lesley.
Our flock of sheep mainly comprise of Devon & Cornwall Longwools, which is registered as a rare breed. Their wool is used predominately for carpet and rug weaving, but also spins well and can also be used for various other crafts such as felting. The carcass is lean with little fat which makes the meat tender & tasty. All our sheep lamb in January & February and our chickens supply us with fresh free range eggs each day!
Due to the fact that our sheep are sheared twice a year, we also have available throughout the year, fleeces that can be bought as a whole or part.
If you are interested in purchasing sheep from us we often have stock for sale and welcome viewings.
